Deborah

Pastor Deborah Holder accepted Christ as her Savior in June 1989 and her call to ministry in 2002 under the leadership of Pastor Margaret Foster of Athens Fire Baptized Holiness Church in Cleveland, Ohio. Pastor Holder was raised in a Christian home where her mother was a minister, and her father was a deacon and superintendent of Sunday School. She knew a lot “about” the Bible, but it came alive once she accepted Christ. Studying the Word became her passion. She began to attend Kay Arthur’s Precept Upon Precept Bible studies, and after several classes, she went on to lead numerous Precept Upon Precept Bible studies. The Lord lead her to Union Community Church in Concord, Ohio, where the late Rev. Roderick Coffee, Sr. was the pastor, and she now serves as an Associate Pastor. She is active in the women’s ministry of the church, Women of Worship (WOW) and teaches the adult women’s Sunday School class. She delights in preaching and teaching God’s Word to help believers be equipped and edified in Christ. Pastor Deb, as she is affectionately known, has three adult children, Lucinda, Christopher, and ShaRhon, and three wonderful grandchildren, Devon, Leon, and Kennedy. Pastor Deb lives her life always with the following scripture in mind– I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together. Psalms 34:1-3
